Howdy all, long time no see! Sorry I haven't posted here in like three months - anybody even remember me? - but I've been crazy busy with some theatre stuff and a new job. How's everybody doing?

Anyway, I found a couple of reviews of The Vagina Monologues, and both reviewers seem very impressed by Jen! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Ellison packed the emotional punch of the night when she slipped into a Bosnian accent to become a survivor of a rape camp, leaving an audience which minutes previously had been howling with laughter and gleefully shouting obscenities stunned into silence.

Jennifer Ellison shows she is far more than just a pretty face, silencing the audience with her heart-wrenching depiction of a Bosnian Rape Camp survivor.

I also found an interview with one of her co-stars, Jenny Eclair, in which she talks a little bit about Jen:
QUOTE
Offering an insight into what it's like to be on the road with present cast co-stars Jennifer Ellison, and Stoke-on-Trent's own Anthea Turner, Jenny reveals: "We're having a terrific time!"

"I don't think there's any other show in which you'd see someone like myself, Jennifer, and Anthea or Wendi Peters cast alongside each other," she continues, of the brazen show.

"Anthea's suitcase is immaculate. When we got to the hotel last night she immediately started unfolding her cashmere throws in her room.

"She also had this Swiss army knife bottle opener, so she opened a bottle of beer for Jennifer's boyfriend, and a most wonderful bottle of Chablis.

"Jennifer is great fun and immensely gutsy. She is incredibly gung-ho and has a fabulous boyfriend, who we've now adopted."

Definately long time no talk PG110. Get your butt over to LM, por favor =]
I'm sorry I havent been around much either, things have been hectic. I just read the thread about Jemma and her mother leaving. That's really too bad because they were great people and kept the forum moving with their inside scoop. They will definately be missed.

That sounds really intense. I wish I could see her perform live.

Ack, I'm sorry! There should be a big update (of the whole site) really soon, if I can just get all the coding done. Is there any action on the forum? I'm kind of afraid to look because I've been away for so long.

Like 2 chapters of review (one with a big surprise!) and a new member who actually posts.

You have to give us a full review of this Laura. Details!

I have just got back from the monologues and i have to say this was absolutely amazing. It was really funny as well as being really emotional in parts. My friend and me have not laughed as much in our lives.

As mentioned in the other reviews one of the highlights of the night was the monologue by Jennifer of the Bosnian Rape Camp survivor, which was truly amazing and very emotional. As well as this another highlight was the last monologue, which was about birth and was the perfect way to end the show.

To make the night even better we went to the stage door after the show and got the autographs of all the cast members. Jennifer was absolutely lovely and took the time to sign autographs and have pictures taken with everyone who was waiting there.

If anyone has any more questions about this show just ask!!
